Terms of Service
Overview Welcome to Reverie! The words “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Reverie. Reverie operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services offered in connection with your orders. Our goal is to provide you (the customer) with a curated and excellent shopping experience (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”). Reverie is powered by Shopify technology, which enables us to offer this Service to you.
The following terms and conditions, along with any policies referenced in this document (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms of Service” or “Terms”), govern your rights and responsibilities when using the Service.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully. They contain important information about your legal rights and include disclaimers and limitations of liability.
By visiting, using, or interacting with our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy . If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy, please do not use or access our Service.
Section 1 – Access and Accounts By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the legal age of majority in the state or province where you reside, and that you have consented to allow any minor dependents under your care to use the Service on any device you own, purchase, or manage.
To use the Service, including accessing or browsing our online store or purchasing any products or services we offer, you may be required to provide certain information, such as your email address, billing, payment, and shipping details. You represent and warrant that all information you provide in our store is accurate, current, and complete, and that you have all necessary rights to provide such information.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or authorize any other person to use your account.
Section 2 – Our Products We strive to display our products and services as accurately as possible in our online store. However, please note that the color or appearance of products may differ from what is shown on your screen due to the type of device you use and your device settings and configuration.
We do not guarantee that the appearance or quality of any product or service you purchase will meet your expectations, nor that it will be identical to the description or presentation in our online store.
We reserve the right to change all product descriptions at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time and may, at our sole discretion, limit the quantity of any product offered to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction.
Section 3 – Orders When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Reverie reserves the right to accept or reject your order for any reason at our sole discretion. Your order is not accepted until Reverie confirms acceptance. We must receive and process your payment before accepting your order. Please review your order carefully before submitting, as Reverie may not be able to accommodate cancellation requests once the order has been accepted. If we do not accept, modify, or cancel your order, we will attempt to notify you using the email, billing address, and/or phone number you provided at the time of ordering.
Products you purchase may only be returned or exchanged in accordance with our Refund Policy [link].
Your purchases are for personal or household use only and may not be used for commercial resale or export.
Section 4 – Pricing and Billing Prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged for any product or service will be the price in effect at the time your order is submitted and will be stated in your order confirmation email. Unless otherwise expressly stated, published prices do not include taxes, shipping fees, handling charges, duties, or import fees.
Prices displayed in our online store may differ from those offered in physical stores, our online store, or other stores operated by third parties. We may occasionally offer service promotions that affect pricing; such promotions are governed by separate terms and conditions in addition to these Terms. In the event of a conflict between promotional terms and these Terms, the promotional terms shall prevail.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase, payment, and account information for all purchases made in our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, credit card number, and expiration date, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
You represent and warrant that: (i) the credit card information you provide is true, correct, and complete; (ii) you are duly authorized to use that credit card for the purchase; (iii) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company; and (iv) you will pay the prices posted for the items you purchase, including shipping and handling fees and all applicable taxes (if any).
Section 5 – Shipping and Delivery We are not responsible for any delays in shipping or delivery. All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, or events beyond our control. Once we transfer the products to the carrier, ownership and risk of loss pass to you.
Section 6 – Intellectual Property The Service, including but not limited to all trademarks, brands, text, displays, images, graphics, product reviews, videos, audio, and their design, selection, and arrangement, are owned by Reverie, its affiliates, or licensors and are protected by United States and foreign patent, copyright, and other intellectual property laws.
These Terms permit you to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use only. Without our prior written consent, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from the Service. Except as expressly provided in these Terms, nothing in these Terms grants or should be construed as granting you any license or right to use any patent, trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property of Reverie, Shopify, or any third party. Unauthorized use of the Service may violate federal and state intellectual property laws. Reverie reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.
Reverie’s name, logo, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Reverie or its affiliates or licensors. You may not use such trademarks without Reverie’s prior written permission. Shopify’s name, logo, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Shopify. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans appearing in the Service are the trademarks of their respective owners.
Section 7 – Optional Tools As part of the Service, you may be given access to third-party tools provided by customers. We neither monitor these tools nor exercise any control or intervention over them.
You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools.
Your use of any optional tools offered through the website is entirely at your own risk and discretion, and you should ensure that you are familiar with and approve of the terms under which the third-party provider supplies the tools.
We may also offer new features or tools through the Service in the future (including the release of new tools and resources). Such new features shall also be considered part of the Service and shall be subject to these Terms of Service.
Section 8 – Third-Party Links The Service may contain materials and hyperlinks to websites provided or operated by third parties (including any embedded third-party features). We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of any third-party materials or websites that you choose to access. If you decide to leave the Service to access such materials or third-party websites, you do so at your own risk.
We are not responsible for any damage or loss arising from your access to any third-party website or from your purchase or use of any products, services, resources, or content on any third-party website. Before conducting any transaction, please carefully review the third party’s policies and practices and ensure you understand them fully. Any complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products and services should be directed to the third party.
Section 9 – Relationship with Shopify [Note to merchant: This section accurately describes the relationship between Shopify and your store. Please do not remove or modify it.]
Reverie is powered by Shopify technology, which enables us to provide services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our store are conducted directly with Reverie. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify has no responsibility or liability for any aspect of any sale between you and Reverie, including any injury, damage, or loss arising from the purchase of products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from any and all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Reverie.
Section 10 – Privacy Policy All personal information we collect through the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy (please see [link]). Certain personal information may also be subject to Shopify’s Privacy Policy (please see here). By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy.
Because the Service is hosted by Shopify, Shopify collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Service in order to provide and improve the Service. Information you submit to the Service will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and third parties (which may be located in countries other than your place of residence) in order to provide the Service. Please refer to our Privacy Policy [link] for more information on how we, Shopify, and our partners use your personal information.
Section 11 – Feedback If you submit, upload, post, email, or otherwise transmit any ideas, suggestions, feedback, reviews, proposals, plans, or other content (collectively referred to as “Feedback”), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, transferable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display such Feedback for any purpose (including commercial purposes) in any medium. For example, we may use the rights granted under this license to operate, provide, evaluate, enhance, improve, and promote the Service, and to fulfill our obligations and exercise our rights under these Terms of Service.
You also represent and warrant that: (i) all Feedback and all necessary rights belong to you; (ii) you have disclosed any compensation or reward received for submitting the Feedback; and (iii) your Feedback complies with these Terms. We have no obligation (1) to keep your Feedback confidential; (2) to pay you for your Feedback; or (3) to respond to your Feedback, now or in the future.
We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit, or remove Feedback that we determine in our sole discretion to be unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, libelous, pornographic, obscene, or otherwise objectionable or that violates any party’s intellectual property rights or these Terms of Service.
You agree that your Feedback will not infringe any third party’s rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality rights, or any other personal or proprietary rights. You further agree that your Feedback will not contain defamatory or other unlawful, abusive, or obscene material, nor will it contain any computer viruses or other malicious software that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false email address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead us or any third party as to the source of any Feedback. You are solely responsible for any Feedback you provide and its accuracy. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any Feedback posted by you or any third party.
Section 12 – Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions Information on the Service may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, delivery times, and availability. If any information is inaccurate, we reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders at any time without notice (including after you have submitted an order).
Section 13 – Prohibited Uses You may access and use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not access or use the Service for the following purposes: (a) any unlawful or malicious purpose; (b) violating any international, federal, provincial, state, or local law, rule, regulation, or ordinance; (c) infringing or violating our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others; (d) harassing, abusing, insulting, harming, defaming, slandering, disparaging, intimidating, or discriminating against any of our employees or any other person; (e) transmitting false or misleading information; (f) sending, knowingly receiving, uploading, downloading, using, or reusing any material that does not comply with these Terms; (g) transmitting or procuring the sending of any advertising or promotional material, including any “junk mail,” “chain letter,” “spam,” or any other similar solicitation; (h) impersonating or attempting to impersonate any other person or entity; or (i) engaging in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Service, or that we determine may harm Reverie, Shopify, or users of the Service or expose them to liability.
In addition, you agree not to: (a) upload or transmit any viruses or other malicious code that may affect the functionality or operation of the Service; (b) reproduce, duplicate, copy, scrape, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service; (c) collect or track the personal information of others; (d) engage in spam, phishing, pharming, or pretexting attacks on the Service; (e) use any robot, spider, scraper, data mining or extraction tool, automated device or process, AI tool (such as agentic AI), or any automated or manual means to access the Service; or (f) interfere with, bypass, or circumvent any security or authorization features, robot exclusion headers, or other measures we use to restrict access to the Service. If we determine that you have violated any part of these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend, disable, or terminate your account at any time without notice.
Section 14 – Agents 14.1 If you use, permit, enable, or cause the deployment of any agent to access, use, or interact with the Service, this section (hereinafter the “Agent Terms”) applies. An “agent” means any software or service that acts on behalf of or under the direction of an individual or entity, taking autonomous or semi-autonomous actions without direct supervision on behalf of an individual or using an individual’s device.
14.2 No agent may access, use, or interact with the Service unless it clearly identifies itself at all times and operates strictly in accordance with the requirements set out in Section 14.4 below. Furthermore, if we request that an agent refrain from accessing, using, or interacting with any part of the Service, no agent may access, use, or interact with that Service.
14.3 We may restrict (including through technical measures) whether and how any agent may access, use, and interact with the Service.
14.4 Agents must: (i) in all HTTP/HTTPS requests, indicate that the request originates from an agent and disclose the agent’s name by including “Agent/[agent name]” in the User-Agent string of the request; (ii) not conceal or obscure the fact that any access, use, or interaction comes from an agent, for example by (a) mimicking human behavior and interaction patterns, or (b) completing or circumventing CAPTCHA or measures designed to distinguish computer use from human use; (iii) respond truthfully to any question or prompt seeking to determine whether an interaction comes from a human or a computer; and (iv) not circumvent or otherwise avoid any measures intended to block, restrict, modify, or control whether and how an agent may access, use, or interact with the Service.
Section 15 – Termination We may terminate this agreement or your access to the Service (or any part thereof) at any time in our sole discretion without notice, and you remain responsible for all amounts owed up to and including the date of termination.
The following provisions shall survive termination: Intellectual Property, Feedback, Termination, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Severability, Waiver, Entire Agreement, Assignment, Governing Law, Privacy Policy, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive termination.
Section 16 – Disclaimer of Warranties The information displayed on or provided through the Service is for general informational purposes only. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of this information. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk. We disclaim all liability for any loss or damage caused by your reliance on such information by you or any other visitor to the Service, or by anyone who may be informed of its contents.
Except as expressly provided by Reverie, the Service and all products provided through the Service are provided to you “as is” and “as available” without any representations, warranties, or conditions, whether express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant, represent, or guarantee that your use of the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied or other warranties, so the above disclaimers may not apply to you.
Section 17 – Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reverie, our partners, directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, service providers, or licensors, or Shopify and its affiliates, shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury of any kind arising from or related to your use of any Service or any products purchased through the Service, including but not limited to any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss, damage, or injury of any kind arising from the use of the Service or any content (or products) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, savings, data loss, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other cause, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Section 18 – Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reverie, Shopify and its affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any loss, damage, liability, or claim (including reasonable attorney’s fees) paid to any third party arising from or resulting from: (1) your breach of these Terms of Service or any documents incorporated by reference; (2) your violation of any law or infringement of any third-party rights; or (3) your access to and use of the Service.
We will notify you of any claim for which indemnification is required, but failure to notify you promptly will not relieve you of your obligations unless you suffer material prejudice as a result. We may control the defense and settlement of such claims (including the choice of counsel) at your expense, but we will not settle any claim that requires you to assume non-monetary obligations without your consent (which shall not be unreasonably withheld). You agree to cooperate in the defense of any indemnified claim, including providing relevant documents.
Section 19 – Severability If any provision of these Terms of Service is held to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall nevertheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms of Service. Such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Section 20 – Waiver; Entire Agreement Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
These Terms of Service, together with any policies or operating rules posted on our website or in connection with the Service, constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior or contemporaneous oral or written agreements, communications, and proposals (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of these Terms of Service).
Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms of Service shall not be construed against the drafting party.
Section 21 – Assignment You may not delegate, assign, or transfer this agreement or any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Any attempted assignment in violation of this provision shall be null and void. We may assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations without notice or consent.
Section 22 – Governing Law These Terms of Service and any separate agreements under which we provide the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the federal and state or provincial laws of the jurisdiction where Reverie’s headquarters is located. You and Reverie agree that such courts have jurisdiction and personal jurisdiction over you.
Section 23 – Headings The headings used in this agreement are for convenience only and shall not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
Section 24 – Changes to the Terms of Service You can review the current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page.
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service at our sole discretion. Updated and changed content will be posted on our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. We will notify you of any material changes to these Terms in accordance with applicable law, and such changes will take effect on the date specified in the notice. Your continued use of or access to the Service after any changes to the Terms of Service have been posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
